We can all help prevent suicide. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress. They provide prevention and crisis resources for you and your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States.

988 has been designated as the new, three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and will be available to everyone across the United States starting on July 16, 2022.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7, and provides essential tools and support to help survivors of domestic violence so they can live their lives free of abuse.

Highly-trained, expert advocates offer free, confidential, and compassionate support. Crisis intervention information, education, and referral services are also available and support is offered in over 200 languages.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration is a free, confidential, 24/7 treatment referral and information service for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.

Please call SAMHSA’s National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357) or TTY: 1-800-487-4889 for help. Help and support is offered in English and Spanish for individuals and family members and includes referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is a private, non-profit corporation whose mission is to help find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization.

NCMEC works with families, victims, private industry, law enforcement, and the public to assist with preventing child abductions, recovering missing children, and providing services to deter and combat child sexual exploitation. Information and services can be found on the NCMEC website at: www.missingkids.org.

NCMEC works closely with law enforcement to locate missing children. If your child is missing, or if you have any information concerning the whereabouts of a missing child, please contact your local law enforcement. Then call the NCMEC Hotline at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678).

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization.

RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country. Support is available 24/7 and is offered in both English and Spanish. RAINN also provides services to help prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.
